What Riders Think About the 1000 Series

Who’s Using the 1000 Series?

As you might expect, most 1000 Series owners are riders with higher-value bikes. The survey revealed:

55% are motorcyclists
25.7% are e-bike riders
17.4% are cyclists

This mix shows how the 1000 Series has become a trusted choice across different types of riders, from motorcyclists to cyclists.

How Worried Are Riders About Theft?

Bicycle and motorcycle theft continues to be a serious concern for riders. Over 93% of respondents said they’re worried about bike theft.

It’s easy to see why. According to The Best Bike Lock, an average of 77,313 bicycles are reported stolen in the UK each year. Even more concerning, thieves are increasingly using angle grinders, which can cut through traditional locks in seconds.

So, it’s completely understandable that riders are concerned, and why choosing a strong, reliable lock is so important. We always recommend layered security: One lock is better than none, and two locks are better than one. Each extra layer adds time, noise, and difficulty to an attempted theft, all things thieves want to avoid.
