 PURCHASES

You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the UK and other countries that relate to the products on our site. You agree and represent that you are buying for your own personal use only, and not for resale.

HOW THE CONTRACT IS FORMED BETWEEN YOU AND US
After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that the Product has been dispatched (the Dispatch Confirmation). The contract between us (Contract) will only be formed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation.

The Contract will relate only to those Products whose dispatch we have confirmed in the Dispatch Confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other Products which may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such Products has been confirmed in a separate Dispatch Confirmation.

All Contracts are concluded in English.

CONSUMER RIGHTS
You may cancel your order at any time within seven working days, beginning on the day after you received the Products. In this case, you will receive a full refund of the price paid for the Products in accordance with our Returns Policy.

To cancel a Contract, you must inform us in writing. You must also return the Product(s) to us immediately, in the same condition in which you received them, and at your own cost and risk. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the Products while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation.

Details of this statutory right, and an explanation of how to exercise it, are provided in the Dispatch Confirmation. This provision does not affect your statutory rights.

DELIVERY
Your order will usually be dispatched within 5 working days of payment.

UK DELIVERIES
Our standard delivery charge is £5 per order to UK mainland destinations, which includes postage and packaging. Your order will be sent by recorded delivery and a signature will be required when you receive your parcel. Free shipping is currently available on orders to a UK address where the order value is in excess of £25.

If the package isn’t signed for, it will be returned to your local post office for collection. If it is not collected within one week, it will be returned to us. We are happy to resend items but would ask you to pay for the postage costs of resending the parcel.

OVERSEAS DELIVERIES
Please be aware that as of 1/1/21, international deliveries may be subject to local import duties and taxes. We have no control over these charges and can’t predict what they may be; any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the customer.

We currently ship to the following countries/regions; Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering on Hiplok.com for international delivery, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you’re receiving the goods.

Free shipping is currently available on all orders to a US mainland address where the total order value is in excess of $100. Free shipping is currently available on all orders to a European mainland address where the total order value is in excess of €50.

Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.

RISK AND TITLE
The Products will be at your risk from the time of delivery.

Ownership of the Products will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of the Products, including delivery charges.

PRICE AND PAYMENT
The price of any Products will be as quoted on our site from time to time, except in cases of obvious error.

These prices include VAT but exclude delivery costs, which will be added to the total amount due.

Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.

Our site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product’s correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If a Product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.

We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.

Payments are processed through Sage Pay and/or Pay Pal, secure and well-trusted online payment processor(s). All major debit and credit cards are accepted or you can choose to pay with a pay pal account. After you have placed your order you will receive e-mail confirmation of the transaction. All orders are processed in British Pounds Sterling.

  • For the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way.
  • To send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with our content standards.

Where we do provide any interactive service, we will provide clear information to you about the kind of service offered, if it is moderated and what form of moderation is used (including whether it is human or technical).

We will do our best to assess any possible risks for users (and in particular, for children) from third parties when they use any interactive service provided on our site, and we will decide in each case whether it is appropriate to use moderation of the relevant service (including what kind of moderation to use) in the light of those risks. However, we are under no obligation to oversee, monitor or moderate any interactive service we provide on our site, and we expressly exclude our liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of any interactive service by a user in contravention of our content standards, whether the service is moderated or not.

The use of any of our interactive services by a minor is subject to the consent of their parent or guardian. We advise parents who permit their children to use an interactive service that it is important that they communicate with their children about their safety online, as moderation is not foolproof. Minors who are using any interactive service should be made aware of the potential risks to them.

Where we do moderate an interactive service, we will normally provide you with a means of contacting the moderator, should a concern or difficulty arise.
